(-)-Tetrabenazine -)-TBZ; compound 13) is an enantiomer of Tetrabenazine (HY-B0590). (+)-Tetrabenazine proves 3-fold more active than (-)-Tetrabenazine in inhibiting vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2).
