Reactivity:Mouse (Mus muscµLus) UniProt:Q3UHK8 Abbreviation:TNRC6A Alternative Names:CAGH26; DKFZp666E117; FLJ22043; GW1; GW182; KIAA1460; MGC75384; TNRC6; CAG repeat protein 26|EDIE|GW182 autoantigen|glycine-tryptophan protein of 182 kDa|trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 6A Application:ELISA Range:Request Information Sensitivity:Request Information Intra-AssayCV:?6.2% Inter-AssayCV:?7.5% Recovery:0.89 Sample Type:Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids Detection Method:Sandwich Analysis Method??:Quantitive Test principle:This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TNRC6A in samples. An antibody specific for TNRC6A has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTNRC6A present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjµgated antibody specific for TNRC6A is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjµgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TNRC6A bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Product Overview:Trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 6A protein is a member of the trinucleotide repeat containing 6 protein family. The protein functions in post-transcriptional gene silencing throµgh the RNA interference (RNAi) and microRNA pathways. The protein associates with messenger RNAs and Argonaute proteins in cytoplasmic bodies known as GW-bodies or P-bodies. Inhibiting expression of this gene delocalizes other GW-body proteins and impairs RNAi and microRNA-induced gene silencing. Plays a role in RNA-mediated gene silencing by both micro-RNAs (miRNAs) and short interfering RNAs (siRNAs). Required for miRNA-dependent repression of translation and for siRNA-dependent endonucleolytic cleavage of complementary mRNAs by argonaute family proteins. Stability:The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calcµLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).
